little boy words of wisdom

i often marvel at my son's little mind
and the big thoughts he comes up with

our conversations are hilarious
and i swear he gets cuter everyday.

today was no exception.
his cutie cuteness soared up several hundred cute points

------------------
situation: discussing his new big boy bed - craigslisted in practically new condition last week.

picture this:
-foster practicing summersaults on said big boy bed
-me, attempting to have a real converstaion to explain the proper use of the new bed

me: "look at this! you have a new bed, and new sheets and a new blanket and a new pillow!"

foster: (summersaults suddenly subside, and out pops the following statement): "and a new foster!"

------------------
situation: using daddy's measuring tape to measure everything in sight

item measured: rowan's head
foster's measurment: "13 inches!"

item measured: mommy's nose
foster's measurment: "5 inches!"

item measured: height of potty chair
foster's measurement: "7 dollars!"

funny how new words pop out at funny moments. this one was hilarious for some reason. now most of our mental capacity is consumed with transversing a conversion rate between inches and dollars. any suggestions?

  1. Hmmm... I checked Wikipedia for an "inches to dollars" conversion chart, but alas, there was nothing. I think to get the correct measurement you have to multiply the number of inches times the number of sommersaults previously performed, then subtract the number of times you used the potty that day and then divide by Foster. I'm pretty sure that gets you the dollars measurement.
